WHAT DO YOU EXPRESS WITH YOUR CUR-RENT COLLECTION, MODERN INFINITY?
Kaviar Gauche: The Modern Infinity collection tells the story of a modern fairy tale, created from aesthetic silk fabrics, heavy tulle, glitter and sequins. Wide flounces, silk and intricate tulle corsetry symbolise the endless possibilities of the universe and the unlimited power of love.

MODERN INFINITY MAINTAINS A PERFECT BALANCE BETWEEN OPULENCE AND UNDER-STATEMENT. HOW DO YOU ACHIEVE THIS HARMONY OF CONTRASTS SO TYPICAL OF KAVIAR GAUCHE?
We both work together to design the collections. We each contribute our own styles, which are then combined in equal measure in the next stage. This is one of the defining elements of the harmony. Our surroundings in the city of Berlin are also reflected in our signature. The city is full of interesting contrasts, for example an abundance of nature located directly next to asphalt and concrete, or opulent Art Nouveau buildings next to clean-lined Bauhaus architecture. WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR INSPIRATION FOR NEW COLLECTIONS?
The inspiration for new Kaviar Gauche collections comes from several different areas. We like to be inspired by influences from art and culture and the French fashion style. For our current Modern Infinity collection, we explored the question of the universe, infinity and love and their significance. It is particularly fun to delve into such topics in the fast-moving times in which we currently live.

The typical Kaviar Gauche woman is a strong and self-confident woman with an assured sense of style when it comes to fashion. She is elegant and modern and personalises her look with special, feminine details. She is a woman who feels comfortable and knows how to express her unique personality in her style.

The history of the Berlin- based fashion label Kaviar Gauche began with a guerrilla fashion show in front of the legendary Parisian department store Collette. The collections created by the designers Alexandra Roehler and Johanna Kühl have been causing a stir on a global level ever since. Their luxury couture looks for the special occasions in life are characterised by modern glamour and refined understatement. The label’s repeated cooperation with the La Biosthétique creative team for hair and make-up adds the perfect finishing touch to the presentation of its current collection.
